We accept mobile money (MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money), bank transfers, and cheques. Fee payments within PSM also support mobile money collection via our payment gateway.

Yes. You can upgrade or change your subscription plan at any time. Contact our support team and they will assist with the transition. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

General

PSM (Package for School Management) is a comprehensive school management system designed for Ugandan schools. It covers student management, academics, finance, staff administration, communication, and reporting — from Baby Class all the way to A-Level.

PSM is available as a cloud-hosted SaaS platform (accessible via any web browser) or as a Desktop application installed on your school's local Windows network. Both options provide the full feature set.

Getting Started

Visit the School Sign Up page on our website. You will need to provide your school's details, choose a subscription plan, and select your preferred deployment option (SaaS or Desktop). Our team will guide you through the onboarding process.

Yes. All new schools receive free online onboarding training. Schools on paid subscription packages also receive one day of free onsite training. Additional refresher training sessions are available at affordable rates.

Technical

PSM Desktop requires Windows 10 version 1809 or later (64-bit), minimum 4 GB RAM, and 2 GB available disk space. For optimal performance, we recommend Windows 11 with 8 GB RAM and an SSD. Visit our Downloads page for full details.

Yes. PSM uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We implement role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security monitoring. Our SaaS platform runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with enterprise-grade security. See our Security page for full details.
